World Leaders

Narendra Modi was just re-elected for another term as India's Prime Minister. It's a shame that this person sits on a seat graced by such luminaries as Jawaharlal Nehru and Lal Bahadur Shastri. This person does not respect human life, cultural difference, women's rights, democracy, religious freedom or human rights. This person is part of a series of demagogues worldwide who have occupied power as technical modernizers and culturally regressive forces. The POTUS of the United States fits this category all too well. This is like a global political plague. What is the solution? Grassroots movements? The United Nations? Impeachments where possible? A viable combination of these? The rise of new great leaders? Saving the Environment and thereby preventing huge numbers of people becoming victims of the politicization of environmental catastrophe? I don't know, but something has to be done. And soon.
