Yes, that's good, but that strikes me more like a newspaper or journal article. I'm going with "Remains Necessary" because that divides people into supporters and antagonists and places the onus of having to show my cards on me.
Dear Nandini: I now understand that writers/authors have 3-5 seconds to get a reader's attention. I believe/suspect that means that our titles have to be the biggest billboard we can work up. If the title doesn't grab attention, then readers probably won't read anything more. That is what the competion is, why readers won't spend any more time (since they have too many e-mails/messages they want to get through--if they are like me). So here is my title. Let me know if it SOUNDS like something that engages you (hoping it engages people): "Why Affirmative Action Remains Necessary, a Memoir"
Great advertising idea, Nandini! Hope you're good and healthy and doing well. I've finished a memoir about my life and teaching experiences and hope to have it out with Kindle Publishing Inc. in a week or two. I know you wish me luck! Hugs, always, Marco
Dear Marco, I actually didn't know about these things until last year, when someone mentioned these sites to me at a party. Not that I have noticed any observable difference in book sales after I started writing here! :-) Of course I totally wish you well in your latest publication--I hope you tell the story like it is (and getting worse, insidiously and through micro-aggressions and micro-exclusions, sometimes from these one would consider one's own, such is the magic of the place). Please let me know when it's out! I'll also spread word everywhere I can.

Hi Marco,
I'd shorten it, quite frankly. I'll brainstorm. But maybe something like "Is Affirmative Action Dead? a Memoir"?
